About Us

Lowbar Publishing Company

I am the pastor of Second Missionary Baptist Church, which is located in the heart of historic Waverly-Belmont community in Nashville, Tennessee. I am a native of Ripley, Tennessee. Prior to my pastorate, I owned and operated several businesses.

I have experience with the businesses of personal and commercial insurance, real estate, mutual funds, special marketing, and financial planning. In addition to my business experience, I served as an adjunct professor of the former Nashville Bible College—instructing a “New Testament Greek” course.

I am the author of several books, including Prophetic Building: Preparing Your Church for Pastoral Leadership, and Grace: Building Wealth One Penny at a Time.”

Lowbar Publishing Company is a licensed business in the state of Tennessee and was established in 2008.

We produce perfect-bound, saddle-stitch, hardback, and case-bound materials, and each book is printed with a custom book cover. Our staff is experienced in the book industry and we use only established printing companies.

Most manuscripts can be converted to a book within 65–90 working days. Lowbar sends to the author (via e-mail) the final PDF files, at no additional cost. Lowbar publishes authors’ books for a fee—with or without a distribution contract. We can assist authors with retail marketing (for an additional charge).
